Guest Composer Lessons, 2010-2011
IU Composition Majors, Minors and Outside Area students:
During 2010-2011, three composers will be visiting the Jacobs School of Music and have agreed to spend three hours in semi-private meetings with our students, critquing work and having discussions. Seven composers will share each ninety minute time slot. Students should bring one completed work (both score and recording) to the meeting. All three composers should stay the whole ninety minutes to take advantage of the insights offered by the guest. These opportunities will be distributed by lottery.
If you are interested in a meeting, send Composition Department Coordinator an email indicating your top three choices by noon, Sept. 7. Your email should contain ONLY ONE LINE OF TEXT: your name, first choice, second choice, third choice. For example:
Joe Student, KS1, PC2, JK2
